We believe in 'growing great teachers' and have a two year training programme in place for NQTs.
A bespoke in house CPD programme for all staff which, this year, is held on Thursday afternoons (the school closes early) and covers areas such as (and this is by no means exhaustive) Curriculum Collaboration Projects, Teacher Toolkit sessions, Leadership Pathways, Departmental Development Time, T&L Groups, IT Development and SEN Strategy.

Teacher of Social Sciences job summary
We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Social Sciences (the ability to teach deliver Sociology and/or Criminology is desirable but not essential) to join a faculty that is enthusiastic, supportive and motivated in promoting high standards of teaching and learning. You will be a team player, someone who is flexible and willing to play a part in the life of the school. We welcome applications from enthusiastic NQTs who will be well supported by experienced mentors or from aspiring teachers looking to make the next move in their career where there are exceptional opportunities for further professional development and promotion.
