• 11 – 18 Selective Grammar School situated in the Cotswolds
• 1160 on roll
• Co-educational Sixth Form with nearly 400 students
• MPS or UPS
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational part /full time Teacher of A Level Sociology (with Geography) to inspire our students. The school has a highly committed staff team with extremely well motivated students and excellent facilities. Both Sociology and Geography are very popular A level subjects at the school with up to two groups of students each year studying each subject. The successful candidate would be required to teach aspects of A Level Sociology, and Geography to at least KS3.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for Sociology and Geography and the ability to inspire students.
• Have experience of successful Sociology and Geography teaching and ability to teach KS5 Sociology.
• Be capable of bringing Sociology and Geography to life in the classroom with creative and engaging lessons that deliver pace and challenge.
• Contribute to whole school improvement and self-evaluation.
