Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School, Batley Grammar School, Field Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School, Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School, and Manorfield Infant, Nursery School and Upper Batley High School. We provide high quality education for all learners. This collaboration enables us to share expertise, knowledge and best practice to ensure academic and pastoral excellence throughout all of our schools, with all schools embracing the same overall ethos and values, whilst maintaining their own unique characters.

We are an 11-19 school and we are very proud of our achievements: ‘Students achieve exceptionally well in this outstanding academy. They make rapid and sustained progress’ (Ofsted, 2013). We have an ethos based around the ideas of Achievement, Respect and Transformation (ART). Respect for self, for others and for learning is at the core of everything we do. We are dedicated to investing in our staff and passionately committed to their development, providing a supportive environment where people can truly grow and flourish.

We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teacher of Spanish to join our successful and hardworking Modern Foreign Languages team. The successful applicant will be learner centered and a collaborative practitioner. The post offers excellent opportunities for a committed teacher with good knowledge of the GCSE syllabi and the ability to teach this across the ability range. We hope the right candidate can inspire our young people to continue with language studies into KS5.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive forward thinking Trust, who in return for your commitment and hard work, will support you to achieve your own career goals and aspirations.
