Teacher of Spanish - January 2022 start job summary
We are seeking for January 2022 an inspiring and outstanding Teacher of Spanish - an imaginative and successful specialist able to demonstrate expertise at all secondary age levels. To be successful you will need excellent subject knowledge and be able to foster enthusiasm and enjoyment of the subject.
This post will suit a teacher keen to join a strong and friendly Modern Foreign Languages department and play a full part in the life of the school. As a selective school we have a number of very able students but we are looking for a well-qualified teacher able to motivate and challenge all our students.

We are a hugely oversubscribed school, complimented by our latest OFSTED inspection on many aspects including our forward vision and academic excellence: “attitudes to learning and relationships between staff and students are exemplary”.
Teaching at Southend High School for Boys is an immensely fulfilling experience where students are readily engaged and respond particularly well to creative and challenging lessons. The ability to stretch and motivate our students, work with other staff and be a good team member is very important.

Southend High School for Boys (SHSB) is an ‘Outstanding’ school (Ofsted 2015), rated as outstanding against every one of the inspection criteria.
