Required for September 2025

Applications by Wednesday 26th February, interviews: week commencing 3rd March.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and inspiring teacher of Spanish with the ability to teach across the age range from KS3 to GCSE and A’ Level.

As an outstanding classroom practitioner, you will be part of the wider Modern Foreign Languages faculty, in which student outcomes are consistently significantly above national average.

You will be central to ensuring the best standards, outcomes and engagement in Spanish. You will first and foremost be an excellent teacher who leads by example, able to enthuse our inclusive student cohort. You will be a reflective teacher, committed to continuously refining your pedagogy using evidence-based approaches.

At KEVICC you will have the chance to work alongside a fantastic group of colleagues who are all committed to the absolute best for our young people. You'll work in a school that is proudly comprehensive, inclusive and kind. Most importantly, you will be working with our incredible students, with the chance to see the impact you have on their learning everyday.

You will also be joining a forward-thinking school that is excited to collaborate across our trust of like-minded schools and more widely. We are part of Education South West, a trust of local primary and secondary schools that includes a nationally recognised teaching school hub at Kingsbridge.

We want a great teacher, with the energy, work ethic and good humour to inspire and engage our students day in, day out.

We offer:

A highly supportive team of colleagues who are visible, hard-working and committed to our young people.

The chance to work with great young people in a comprehensive setting, in a beautiful part of the country.

Education South West and KEVICC are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post. This includes checks with past employers, an online check of publicly available information, including social media, and an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service
