We are now seeking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Spanish to join our innovative team. The ability to teach French is desireable but not essential.

The successful colleague will be expected to:

 Teach great lessons that spark an interest in Modern Foreign Languages and enable young people to learn and make progress.
 Demonstrate a genuine commitment to the young people at Ladybridge, caring about their personal, as well as academic, development.
 Secure outstanding behaviour and safety.
 Have a strong desire to engage in professional learning.

 Ability to plan and deliver varies, engaging, differentiated inclusive lesson that have student progress at their heart
 Ability to articulate a well-defined personal philosophy of education and a clear understanding of what needs to happen to dismantle barriers to learning and to accelerate progress in the subject
 Proven track record of raising standards and achievement in the subject for all groups of learners
 Ability to interpret data to set specific targets to accelerate performance
 Ability to apply a sound knowledge of national and local strategies to own pedagogy and practice
 An innovative classroom practitioner who will inspire colleagues to ‘raise their game’ in the classroom
 ICT competence for deep learning
 Commitment to positive form tutoring
 A determination to work with all colleagues to ensure that Ladybridge High School received a judgement of Outstanding at the next inspection
