Teacher of Special Educational Needs job summary
This is a Permanent, Full Time position.
At The Eastbourne Academy, SEND is at the heart of our school. We are looking for a qualified and passionate teacher of SEND children who will provide high-quality teaching to small classes of students with a range of special needs. You will also be able to deliver interventions to groups of targeted students.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching young people who have a range of special educational needs including those with Autism and Speech, Language and Communication Need (SCLN). The role would suit upper primary school or lower secondary school teachers, but all who feel they meet the criteria are welcome to apply.
Working closely with curriculum teams you will be confident in developing and delivering schemes of work that support our students to make excellent progress in relation to their individual starting points. You will have a passion for ensuring that our SEND students receive the very best support possible and will thrive in our warm and supportive community.
