What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an exceptional catering and food teacher from January 2025. The successful candidate will teach food and catering to Years 7 and 8 on a carousel basis and then a dedicated catering course in years 9 to 11. The number of our students wishing to opt for catering has been increasing and is one of our most popular options. You will be working in a very well-equipped professional style facility that has over recent years had significant investment. There is part-time technician support provided.
You will join an experienced team of subject specialists. Technology forms an integral part of the KS3 curriculum with all students studying a wide range of disciplines. At KS4 students have the opportunity to study from a range of Technology subjects.
We are looking for a highly skilled practitioner:
- who has high standards and expectations;
- with ideas and imagination to build on current good practice;
- who will embrace and add to a strong team ethos;
- who has the ability to be flexible in the technology subjects we offer.
Interviews will be held on Friday 25th October 2024.
