Teacher of Technology (one year in first instance) job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic teacher to join this happy and successful school. The school has a strong record for developing highly effective teachers and leaders. Student progress and examination grades are consistently above national averages. Materials, Electronics and Graphics are taught at GCSE, along with Food and Nutrition. Product Design is taught at A level. This post is suitable for an NQT or an experienced colleague and is a temporary one-year post in the first instance.
We are looking for someone who is:
• an inspirational, enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Technology;
• able to teach to at least GCSE level in at least one of the Materials, Electronics or Graphics specialisms;
• committed to maximising the potential of all students;
• keen to contribute to school life;
• ambitious to develop their career.
