Job summary

We are looking for one or more outstanding Design and Technology teachers to join our enthusiastic and committed Technology and Art team. We would especially welcome teachers able to deliver Food (Hospitality and Catering) or teachers with a strong interest or experience in Auto Motive Studies as we currently run an IMI Award. The successful candidate(s) could be either part time or full time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and inspirational professional who is ready to develop their career in a caring and supportive environment. We are a well-funded and supported department with excellent facilities and outstanding results. We have high quality accommodation within the department which includes an up to date catering kitchen, key stage 3 kitchen; 3 workshops, 2 computer rooms within Technology and an Electronics and Graphics classroom. We also have our own garage for Motor Vehicle, a CAD CAM suite and a small jewellery room.

The successful candidate will be a person who thrives on challenge, enjoys working with young people and is passionate about seeing them achieve. We would welcome applications from either newly qualified or experienced practitioners.
