What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Technology teacher who is determined to make a difference to the lives and futures of our young people. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to really have an impact and shape the DT department, as the school continues on its journey to exceptional.
You will be required to teach all aspects of Design Technology including design technology at Key Stage 3 and 4, food technology and hospitality and catering at Key State 4.
We are seeking to recruit a Technology teacher to:
• Ensure the quality of teaching and learning continues to meet the high aspirations of our learners, providing them with the skills, knowledge and qualifications required for success in their chosen next steps
• Develop and deliver inclusive, inspiring and enriching Food Technology lessons.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
• Evidence of successful teaching of Technology at KS3 and KS4
• An ability to develop and sustain successful relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Enthusiasm and drive with a passion for changing young people’s lives
