Richard Huish College Sixth Form has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.

An exciting position has arisen at Huish in the Vocational Music area. We are looking for an inspirational 0.4 teacher of Vocational Music (Production and/or Popular music). The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Music with strong Production and/or Popular skills. We are lucky enough to have an extremely talented cohort of students, and the successful candidate will have the pleasure of helping them on their musical pathway. These popular courses are taught in purpose built, well-resourced, industry standard facilities with the support of a technician. All vocational courses are delivered to the Pearson specification. We are recruiting for a 0.4 FTE but there maybe the possibly of an increase in hours depending on student numbers.

  • Start Date: 1st January 2024 or sooner by arrangement.
  • Closing date: 9.00am on 13th June 2023
