What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic and skilled teacher who shares our desire to ensure all our children at Holgate become lifelong learners. The role involves covering PPA through school as well as cover for our SLT who are class based.
The successful applicants will:
- Be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, organised and resilient
- Have excellent classroom practice with high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
- Have experience of working within KS2 and KS1.
- Be able to evidence the positive impact of their practice upon pupil progress
- Be able to work as part of a friendly, collaborative team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be highly professional and well presented with a good standard of spoken and written English.
- Have a commitment to developing pupil personal development and to developing effective relationships with pupils in school.
- Be committed to ensuring that children are always safe, happy and are fully engaged in learning.
- Be able to identify a strength in their ability to teach a particular foundation subject through school
- Have a commitment to our school and its ongoing success
