We wish to appoint a new member to the Department of Philosophy and Theology. Applications from NQTs are most welcome. Applicants must be suitably qualified, passionate about their subject and able to teach Philosophy and Religious Studies to all levels including A level.
Religious Studies is taught throughout KS3 and at KS4 and the vast majority of students take GCSE full course. At A/S and A/2, the Department offers both Philosophy and Religious Studies and we are keen to build on the increasing popularity of these two subjects. We have a highly academic approach and we are proud of both our KS4 and KS5 results which are always well above the national average.
Graveney School is multi-religious and Philosophy and Theology make a vital contribution to the school ethos and its high standards.
The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic, outstanding teacher, who brings vision and creativity to this post to ensure that Philosophy and Theology continue to flourish within a changing curriculum.
