What skills and experience we're looking for
It is an exciting time here at Smallwood with the school moving to a one-form entry model and a seventh class from September 2022. We are looking for a colleague with experience of teaching in any phase/year group, with a proven track record of raising standards and meeting targets.
The successful
candidate will be a team player with high expectations of themselves, their
colleagues and the children. We are looking to recruit an imaginative, artistic
and creative teacher. A teacher who takes initiatives and creates a classroom
environment where every child enthuses about their learning journey.

The Directors, Headteacher, children, staff and parents of Smallwood Primary Academy wish to appoint a new member to their team of teaching staff.
Would you like an exciting opportunity to join a great team in a fabulous location with outstanding children? We have a temporary, two-year contract for a full time Class Teacher. There is potential for this post to become permanent.

A Lesson observation and interview will take place Tuesday 21st May 2024 .
