What skills and experience we're looking for

You are warmly invited to apply for the post of Class Teacher in our Sunflower Specialist Provision. We are seeking a skilled, committed, and passionate practitioner to take a vital role within our school. You will be responsible for delivering and coordinating daily teaching, planning and pastoral care for a small class of pupils with mild to moderate learning needs across Key Stage 1. You will work closely with the school SENCo, other school leaders and external agencies to support the varying learning and pastoral needs of our pupils.

We seek a candidate with presence, passion, personality and patience; the successful candidate will be able to confidently meet the individual needs of our pupils, promote excellent progress from individual starting points and facilitate smooth transitions for some pupils back to their mainstream class.
