Teacher - Second in Science job summary
We are looking for an innovative Science teacher to assist in driving forward and supporting the strategic direction and development of the science department in conjunction with the Science Lead.
Your opportunity
Come and assist the Science Lead enthuse and engage our students with our innovative curriculum. You will be responsible for assisting the leadership and management of a small, but growing team of experienced and dedicated teachers. This is an excellent career opportunity to provide clear, effective guidance to colleagues, developing teaching best practice and maximising standards of student attainment.
As a purpose built school, Aureus has brand new classrooms and laboratories using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and Visualisers enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners. Lesson planning and delivery is done with ease using the Google Drive and all staff and students are provided with Office 365 professional accounts as a platform for collaboration, sharing and out of school access.

Aureus School is a state of the art comprehensive 11-16 school that opened on the Great Western Park, Didcot, in September 2017 with our first cohort of Year 7 students. The Details
Salary- MPR + TLR2

Interview date – 26th February 2020 (or at the candidates earliest opportunity). Shortlisted candidates will be asked to deliver a lesson, undertake a panel interview and complete a short written assessment relevant to the role.
