Teacher SEN job summary
This is a really exciting opportunity for the right teacher to gain experience working with young people with autism but with Age related expectations. We are looking for someone who would be excited by the challenge of creating an interesting curriculum for our young people .
The school is a brand new building with great new resources. Classes are very small with support staff to help with delivering the curriculum.

The Austen Academy is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school for learners from Year 1 to Year 11 whose needs cannot be met within a mainstream environment. All students will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in relation to their Social, Communication Needs (SCN) associated with a diagnosis of Autism.
