Teacher SEN job summary
This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic Teacher with energy, strong pedagogical awareness and determination to join Trinity School. You will be an experienced or Early Career Teacher (ECT), Primary or Secondary trained, with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs. The role will involve the delivery of a literacy curriculum, in addition to other bespoke curriculum elements as required by our learners, in small class settings and in some cases on a one-to-one basis.
An interest in SEND specific teaching and/or previous experience of working in a specialist provision is desirable, but not essential.
The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities. In addition, you will work with small groups of pupils to deliver a range of interventions and support, working closely with the SENCO, to meet the needs of our vulnerable learners.
What you will need to succeed:
You will need to exhibit a passion for working with pupils with additional needs, and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school and sustaining our commitment to providing opportunities for all pupils to excel.
Given the unique opportunity this role presents, interested applicants are encouraged to email hr@trinitasacademytrust.org to arrange a discussion with the Principal if they wish to discuss further.
