The Albany is a 70 place secondary AP and SEMH provision. We believe everyone matters, creating a family of young people and staff who grow and learn together. Our ‘relationships are the key to our success in re-engaging pupils with their education.’ [Ofsted 2017]. Pupils are grouped in cross phase classes taught in a primary methodology, enabling much stronger adult-pupil and pupil-pupil relationships to be fostered. Our primary aim is to ‘transform pupils’ lives’ [Ofsted 2017] through improved educational outcomes, building sustainable change within our children so that they become resilient, emotionally articulate young people able to positively engage in the next steps of their education.
