St. Mary’s School is a small infant school, considered to be a centre of excellence for early years education. The school has a happy and caring atmosphere, for which it is well known, and a dedicated and hard-working staff team with a lot of expertise. There is a high level of parental support and involvement with the school. We encourage our children to engage with the wider world to understand how people live in a changing society. As we are located in the centre of Witney, it is important to us that we have close links with the local community. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, which challenges every child to fulfil his or her potential, encouraging individual responsibility and confidence.

We strive to ensure that the school is a happy and ‘exciting’ place to be, where children are stimulated, encouraged and supported. We provide hands-on learning opportunities to foster both their independence and an enthusiasm to learn.
