  • Be confident in establishing sound professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and our community
  • Have knowledge and understanding of effective behaviour management strategies and the ability to put these into practice
  • Have high expectations of everyone within the school community
  • Be committed to safeguarding and protecting children and young people.

St Nicholas Primary School is a small school in the west of Hull with places for 210 pupils aged 5-11 years. It is based in the historic 1897 Sailor’s Families Society Orphanage and is a happy, friendly school, built on history and which relishes the challenge of preparing children for the future. St Nicholas Primary School is Ofsted rated ‘Good’. It is a ‘small school with a big heart and a love for learning’. St Nicholas Primary School converted to academy status in August 2015 and joined Humber Education Trust in September 2017.
