Teacher job summary
The Duchy School is a popular and successful primary school which is seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and inspiring KS2 class teacher from 1st January 2022 for two days per week to cover a maternity leave.
Salary: MPS: £25,714 - £41,604 FTE (this will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working Pattern: This is a part-time, fixed term position working 0.44 FTE, 39 weeks per year.
You will:
Be able to create a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where our children are inspired, motivated and able to flourish
Stand out from the crowd because of your positive attitude, flexibility and drive
Have a commitment to meeting the needs of all groups of learners and have a willingness to go the extra mile to make learning rigorous but fun
Wish to teach an inspiring curriculum rooted in first hand experiences making the most of our grounds and location
Be a reflective practitioner who has a commitment to working with colleagues to improve practice and outcomes for our children and demonstrate a willingness to join in with the life of the school and its community
Be a good communicator, build effective relationships with our pupils and their families
Have excellent classroom management skills; Have a desire to make a difference
Be able to offer leadership in developing an area across the school
