Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher to work at The Mendip School, a school for children aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Speech Language and Communication Needs. There is potential for a TLR for the right candidate, please include details of specialist areas or experience in your application.

Applicants from specialist or mainstream settings are encouraged. The position will be an excellent opportunity for colleagues looking for a new challenge in their teaching career. Previous experience of working in a special school is an advantage although training will be provided.

Applicants will need to be confident, resilient and have excellent communication skills. We are a hardworking and enthusiastic team who enjoy the challenges and opportunities of working within a school environment.
