We are seeking to appoint two excellent teachers to join our wonderful team to ‘bloom and grow’ at Moorlands Schools Federation. These posts are Full Time Equivalent fixed-term contract positions. The date is short on this advert to allow for appointments before the May half term. It may be readvertised in the future.
Moorlands Schools Federation comprises two schools: Moorlands Infant School and Moorlands Junior School. We believe our schools are very special places for learners of all ages. Our Federation occupies a green and leafy learning environment across 10 acres in the beautiful historic city of Bath. We offer children and staff who come to our schools a vibrant, friendly, fun and purposeful community where they can all experience our vision of ‘space to grow for any tomorrow’.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full-time classroom teachers to join our supportive and dynamic staff team. The successful applicants will initially work in KS2, with future opportunities to work across our Infant and Junior schools. Please specify your subject specialisms, strengths, interests, and year group preference and experience, within your supporting statement.
We are looking for passionate and inspirational practitioners who are committed to providing the highest quality learning and who are able to work well as part of a team. You will either have a proven track record for raising standards or be an ECT who is resilient and hungry to learn; please include examples of how you have demonstrated this within your supporting statement. We can offer an early career teacher a strong, motivated teaching team with a wealth of experience. We work alongside Five Counties Alliance to support a comprehensive induction programme for ECTs.
We welcome visits and calls to the school to give prospective candidates the chance to find out more about our inclusive and diverse curriculum, and our happy school community. To fully appreciate all that Moorlands can offer both in terms of professional development and our stunning school setting, please contact the office to book via email: office@moorlands-school.com . Tours will take place on: Monday 20 May at 7.45am or 2pm or Tuesday 21 May at 4pm. Alternatively, get in touch to arrange a telephone call with the Deputy or Assistant Headteacher.
