What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Primary Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers (ECTs) starting or currently completing their induction are encouraged to apply.
  • Has experience teaching/ teaching practice within the primary phase, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practice.
  • Strives to create a supportive and inclusive school environment where every child can thrive.

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on the progress and attainment of pupils.
  • Promoting the general progress and wellbeing of individual pupils and the class as a whole.
  • Collaborating with partner teacher, other colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil learning and development.
  • Contributing to the development of teaching materials, curriculum planning, and assessment methods.
  • Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment where pupils feel supported and encouraged to develop both academically and personally.
