Are you an outstanding teacher, with SEND/ASD as your specialist area, looking for a new teaching role in a large 2 FE primary school?
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a forward-looking school to develop your own teaching skills and improve outcomes for all children?
Due to the retirement of the previous post holder we are looking for an outstanding experienced teacher with high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour to lead our SNSC for fifteen Key Stage 2 children and to join our supportive and hardworking staff team.
Qualifications / experience in teaching children with ASD would be desirable.
The successful applicant will:
Be an outstanding teacher who inspires and motivates staff and pupils
Have the drive and ability to secure excellent rates of progress and attainment for all children no matter their starting point
Have high expectations of themselves and others
Have a secure understanding of how to use data to ensure progress
Have energy and vision to work with our talented teaching team across the whole school, in particular the SENCO, to ensure excellent provision, inclusive practice and outcomes for children with SEND
Be committed to their own professional development
Have strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Develop a strong partnership with parents, external agencies and the wider community
Contribute to the wider life of our church school
