The Governors are seeking to appoint a high-quality, committed, creative, enthusiastic and flexible class teacher. The post is initially based at Warren Wood - A Specialist Academy which caters for pupils aged 2-11 to work in classes to support groups or individual students with a wide range of additional needs.  

Staff are contracted to work for the Academy Trust and may be required to work at either Warren Wood or Aegir Academies. 

We are looking for someone to join our team who: 
  • is an outstanding, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join a dynamic team committed to enhancing the learning and progress of all pupils in their care; 
  • has an ability to articulate and share a vision of SEN education with all stakeholders;
  • has knowledge of what constitutes quality in educational provision, the characteristics of effective schools and strategies for raising standards and the achievement of all learners;
  • has experience of working with pupils with SEND and has a secure understanding of the requirements of EYFS, the Primary Curriculum & SEND;
  • has the ability to liaise, plan and deliver a multi-sensory curriculum with other members of the staff team.
