Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join this happy and successful school. In our most recent OfSTED inspection we were judged to be good with many outstanding features. You will be part of our dedicated, hardworking team to secure Winchelsea’s continued progress. Applications are invited from both experienced and newly qualified teachers stating clearly the strengths you have to offer. We would love to hear about your passions and there may be a budget available to support you to put them into practice in our school. Currently there is flexibility in which year group the successful applicant will be expected to teach and this can be discussed within the interview process.
Initially this post is offered on a temporary contract until the end of the academic year but is expected to be extended following a review of the needs of the school for September 2022.

Winchelsea is a popular rural primary school, with supportive and dedicated staff, governors and parents. Our children are polite, motivated, happy and willing to learn. Opportunities do not come along often to join our school as staff are happy in their work and vacancies are rare so this is an exciting opportunity to join us!
