Teacher with experience of Autism or SLD/PMLD job summary
John F Kennedy Special School are looking to appoint 2 qualified teachers with experience in teaching Autistic students or students with SLD/PMLD and who are able to see the possibilities for our exceptional learners to develop provision that enables all to thrive.
You will teach creative lessons in an adaptable framework that complements each pupil’s stage of learning. Lessons need to include structured approaches to learning and there is an emphasis on communication strategies to meet the individual needs and abilities of pupils. Learning is brought alive by creative, visual and sensory methods. Teaching and learning is underpinned by a structure of policy and practice.
