Salary: MPS/UPS pay range £31,650-£49,084 + TLR 2b £4,983

About You:

As a Teacher at Wroughton Academies you will be responsible for achieving the best possible standards in work and conduct for all pupils in the class and to promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils within the school. You will:

  • Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge particularly with Maths.
  • Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
  • Make accurate and productive use of assessment.
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

To apply for the role of Teacher with Mathematics Lead, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Be qualified to a degree level.
  • Have experience of teaching across the full age and ability range from EYFS to KS2.
  • Good awareness of phonics (eg Read, Write, Inc).
  • Be able to lead and drive progress in Maths across the Academies.

Wroughton Infant Academy and Wroughton Junior Academy are welcoming and ambitious schools in Gorleston-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth. Since December 2016 Wroughton Academies have been part of the Creative Education Trust. This has enabled the schools to rigorously pursue rapid improvement for the children they teach and a brand new link building was opened in 2019 to ensure that the two schools are as closely connected as possible.
