Teacher job summary

We have a position for a dedicated Teacher who would like to join our exciting half-form entry Primary School.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher who will be confident to develop and lead their own provision, whilst working within an experienced team of professionals who will guide and support you. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about achieving the best for our children and will have excellent communication skills. In return, this will be your chance to join a positive and enthusiastic team, and a forward-thinking Academy Trust, where all staff are valued.

Woodlands works closely with St John’s C of E Primary School, and both schools are welcoming Church of England Primary Schools where the appreciation of others is encouraged and attitudes of tolerance, care, concern and self-respect are developed in a happy, safe and secure environment. Our partnership means that you will be working in a small village school where you will take a crucial role at the start of our children’s educational journey, but will also benefit from wider support from our dedicated team and a chance to grow and flourish.

We offer lots of support to the right candidates, whatever the stage of your career. We welcome applications from ECT applications. We’re continually developing our provision to make our school ever more successful, and would love you to join us on our journey. We value imagination and creativity, and are looking for a teacher who shares our values and would like the chance to thrive in a dynamic and exciting school where no two days are the same. Our children are friendly, curious, and keen to learn. We pride ourselves on our inclusive, values led approach, which helps our children to shine.

Woodlands C of E Primary School is an Academy within Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust. The successful candidate will be employed by BDAT although their main place of work will be at Woodlands. BDAT strives to be a diverse and inclusive employer, a place where we can ALL be ourselves. We encourage and welcome applications from everyone.
