Teacher - Year 1 - Maternity Cover job summary

We are seeking to appoint an excellent Teacher to join Eaton Primary School, part of Sandstone Trust,. You would teach a Year 1 class from 6th November 2024. This will be to cover a member of staff who will be on maternity leave. Both experienced and ECT teachers are invited to apply for this role although an experienced Teacher with the ability to demonstrate success in teacher Year 1 phonics would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching this age group and will be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence in the teaching of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

Your usual working days will be each Thursday and Friday and alternate Wednesdays but further details about this will be discussed in more detail at the interview stage. The class will be shared with an experienced teacher.
