Job Vacancies at Cornerstone Academy Trust

Class Teachers – September 2020 positions available at:

Broadclyst Community Primary School, Exeter
Westclyst Community Primary School, Exeter
Monkerton Primary School, Exeter
Yeo Valley Primary School, Barnstaple

Due to the expansion of the academy trust with new year groups opening at Westclyst and our brand-new school opening at Monkerton, we are looking to recruit several class teachers to be based in each of our four schools. We are seeking teachers who wish to work in any of the key stages from Reception through KS1 and into KS2. Required in September, the posts are fixed term until the end of July 2021.

We are looking for inspiring and professionally thoughtful teachers who must be able to use a range of teaching styles and appropriate strategies to meet the needs of all children. To be one of the successful candidates you will need to be both creative and passionate about learning. You must be able to teach using a multi-disciplinary approach, using ICT in a fully integrated way as a tool for both teaching and learning, which the school is internationally recognised for.

Cornerstone Academy Trust is responsible for Broadclyst, Westclyst and Yeo Valley Primary Schools and will be opening another new school in the Monkerton area of Exeter later this year.

Broadclyst & Westclyst have been rated outstanding by Ofsted, and in addition, Broadclyst is a Microsoft Showcase School. Yeo Valley Primary School became part of Cornerstone in January 2019 and has benefited from significant investment in teaching and learning in terms of staff, resources and premises. Monkerton Community Primary School will open next academic year. It will initially open with reception aged children and a Nursery, steadily growing to full capacity over the coming years.

The Trust also runs a Teaching School, an English Hub, a Science Hub and a Computing Hub and is an approved Academy Sponsor.
