O.6 TEACHER FOR Pupil Premium Grant interventions - £15,428 to £24,962 plus 1 SEN point (£2,270) per annum,
A TLR 2a for leading a curriculum area across the school may be available for candidates subject to their skills, knowledge and experience
Teachers (ASC) job summary
The successful candidates will demonstrate excellent teaching skills and team leadership, a high level of organisation, creativity, resilience, and positive working relationships with parents, carers and professionals. Governors are looking for candidates who demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a wide range of additional needs including complex medical needs, autism, sensory processing needs, SLCN, and challenging behaviour.
All new staff are trained in safeguarding, behaviour support, and risk assessment, and all staff follow a comprehensive professional development programme.
Applications are welcomed from NQTs as well as from experienced class-based teachers in mainstream or special settings. Job-share applications may be considered.
Shortlisting will take place on Thursday 13th May 2021
Interview date: Tuesday 25th May 2021
The interview process will include an observation of teaching at Millwood.
Visits to the school may be possible on the 20th May 2021 for shortlisted candidates only and will be dependent on the COVID19 risk assessment at the time of the proposed visit.
