It’s remarkable how the small things in life make the biggest of differences. Take behaviour for instance. It is no secret that promoting positive behaviour makes more than a vital contribution to pupil achievement and success in later life. And this is where you come in….

We are looking to recruit two teachers, preferably with Key Stage 2 experience or the ability to quickly pick up the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The roles are based at Pathways PRU in Aylesbury and the other at The Oaks PRU in Amersham, but there will be some travel to other sites as required as we are all part of one PRU team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the different provisions offered by the PRU and will give you a chance to develop and consolidate excellent behaviour management skills.

We have high expectations of our pupils and, as a class teacher, you will need to be adaptable and build the curriculum around pupils and their needs.

Working at the PRU is not always a bed of roses, but then nothing worthwhile achieving ever is. Each day brings different challenges and that is why it is so rewarding to work here. You will receive all the support and training you need from our friendly team. Once fully trained you will have opportunities to work with colleagues in mainstream schools as part of our outreach service.

These are full time roles but part time may be considered for the right applicant.
