What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to recruit well-qualified and highly motivated Mathematics graduates to enhance our high performing curriculum area, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. This post is open to ECTs and experienced teachers. For a suitably experienced candidate there is the possibility of a responsibility post.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our department and begin, or further develop, your leadership skills with a TLR or R&R responsibility. The specific area of responsibility will be decided by the skills and experience you have to offer but may include a Key Stage responsibility with the department or responsibility for Whole School Numeracy.

Weatherhead High School is a large 11 to 18 oversubscribed girls’ comprehensive school with approximately 1540 students on roll. There is an excellent mixed Sixth Form with nearly 300 students. We have a PAN of 254 for each year group from Year 7 to 11 and the school of choice for girls in Wallasey and the surrounding area.
We were judged to be an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider in our recent inspection in November 2022. During the inspection, inspectors commented that ‘Weatherhead High School is a happy and friendly learning community. Pupils, students in the Sixth Form and staff are proud to belong to this school. Relationships between staff and pupils are strong.’
