We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative teachers to work at The Mendip School, a school for children aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Speech Language and Communication Needs. The post holder could be placed within KS1/KS2/KS3/KS4 depending on their area of experience and the need within the school.

Applicants from specialist or mainstream settings are encouraged. The position will be an excellent opportunity for colleagues looking for a new challenge in their teaching career. Previous experience of working in a special school is an advantage although training will be provided.

Applicants will need to be confident, resilient and have excellent communication skills. We are a hardworking and enthusiastic team who enjoy the challenges and opportunities of working within a school environment. Students are taught in small groups, usually with more than one member of staff in attendance.
