What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidates will have experience across key stages 3 and 4; have an excellent understanding of the expectations of learners, a good standard of English and Maths and have the personal drive to achieve excellence.
We are looking for teaching assistants who will:
- Provide support under the direction of teaching staff to a consistently high standard
- Provide specific support to the teacher in the care of pupils and management of the classroom.
- Be able to share good practice with colleagues and work flexibly alongside and in support of them.
- Have a track record of successfully assisting in raising standards and in ensuring all pupil groups make good progress.
- Act practically to promote the ethos of learning.
- Has the skill to develop effective relationships with staff and pupils.
- Promote the welfare of the pupils and staff.
