Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant (PE & Sport Focus)
Are you passionate about sport, physical activity and helping children thrive? Heath Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team in a PE-focused role.
This is a varied and rewarding position, combining classroom support with a key role in delivering and promoting PE, sport and active play across the school. You will help to engage pupils in physical activity, promote teamwork and healthy lifestyles, and ensure all children can participate and succeed. Alongside this, you will support pupils’ learning, confidence and independence across the curriculum, including those with additional and SEND needs.
Working closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and the wider staff team, you will play an important role in both learning and enrichment, helping to create a positive, inclusive and active school environment. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience or a strong interest in PE, sport or coaching, alongside a commitment to supporting all learners.
