Teaching and Learning Assistant job summary
Grade 7 £26,248 to £28,161 per annum pro rata
22.50 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
8.30 am to 4.30 pm ideally Monday to Wednesday although there is some flexibility around the exact days worked
Temporary to 31 August 2025
The successful applicant will provide effective support for students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities in mainstream classes, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to contribute to the progress of the students. You should have experience of working with and supporting children/young people, ideally in a secondary school. Familiarity with a range of learning difficulties and the techniques and methods which engage and support students is essential. A relevant Level 3 qualification would be advantageous. Actual Salary £13,729 to £14,730 per annum.
