What skills and experience we're looking for
We welcome applicants who:
- have proven experience of working with early years
- SEN experience would be a bonus
- will assist with eating, dressing, toileting and hygiene whilst encouraging independence
- hold an NVQ level 3 qualification in Child care or equivalent
- have proven experience of working with SEN children in early years
- have a clear understanding of the of the EYFS curriculum
- can support planning and implement inclusive learning activities according to the child’s responses
- can support the maintenance of positive links between home and school by working with parents as partners and by liaising with other agencies
- are able to contribute to the assessment of pupils through observation, records and discussions with other team members, parents and the Headteacher
- are willing to be a co-ordinator in an area of learning and will be active in developing / maintaining this in the learning environment, helping to support other members of staff
- will actively participate in opportunities for professional development
- will support in a team approach other adults, including students, parents, governors, external agencies
- will support the maintenance and development of effective partnership working, all year transition / induction

Burton Manor Primary School is situated in the South Western part of Stafford in a pleasant residential area. It was built in the 1950s but has had additional buildings added over the years. The school has a well equipped playground and good sized playing field which includes a 200 metre all weather track.
