Teaching Assistant job summary

Waverley Academy has an exciting part-time opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our committed and supportive team. We are looking for a talented, knowledgeable professional with high aspirations for all of our children.

This is a term-time, part-time role for 15 hours per week. Ideally the working hours would be 12.15pm - 3.15pm but we are open to discussions around working the 15 hours over 2.5 days if this is a preferred option.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have recent, relevant and successful experience in a primary school setting - ideally across Early Years
  • Build and maintain successful working relationships with pupils
  • Support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs
  • Want to make a real difference
  • Utilise strategies to support pupils in achieving learning goals.
