Teaching Assistant 1-1 SEN job summary
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic SEN teaching assistant to join our school to help and support children with special educational needs.
Our ideal candidate is a capable and reliable person with sound literacy and numeracy skills to support the learning needs of individual and groups of children. Dependent on the needs of the child, there may be times where you may need to deal with a child's personal hygiene.
If you are patient, resilient and organised with a passion for helping children succeed, you would be our ideal candidate. We offer a well-resourced school with supportive and friendly colleagues and governors.
This role will also include lunch time supervision, which may be indoors or outside.
This role is for a fixed term contract and it is a 31.25 hours per week, term time + 5 inset days, for the successful candidates with a 45 minute lunch break. Immediate start.

Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse, and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English.
