Salary £18,426 - £19,171 Full Time Equivalent (Actual salary will be pro rata)
Hours 30 hrs per week
The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (One to One Support) who is committed and passionate about enabling pupils with additional needs to succeed and is able to provide high quality support.
We are looking for someone who:
• can enable pupils with additional needs to access learning in a mainstream classroom
• can deliver specific support to raise the attainment of pupils with additional needs
• is able to enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
• is committed to high standards and able to adapt lesson plans and resources to best meet the needs of the individual pupil
• can work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
• can keep detailed records of progress and attainment
• is able to work effectively as part of a team
• has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with parents, pupils and staff
• will be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
