Teaching Assistant 1:1 job summary

To support the education of a pupil in Key Stage 1 who needs particular help to overcome barriers to learning.

Work with pupil on any therapy or care programmes, devised by professionals - Monitor, assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment of the pupil as agreed with the teacher and SENCo.

Attend to pupil’s personal needs including toileting, hygiene, dressing and eating, as well help with social, welfare and health matters. Personal care is minimal.
