We have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our diverse and welcoming school team from November 2024 or earlier if possible.
Merryfields School is a 113-place Generic Special School for children aged 4-11 years in Wolstanton, Newcastle-under-Lyme; we are part of Manor Hall Academy Trust.

The role:
We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join us in November 2024 or earlier if possible. The roles are on a fixed term basis due to pupil funding. Working hours are 32.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
The roles will require an understanding of working with pupils with SEN, dysregulation requiring support through a range of strategies, and a range of communicative needs. The role will be directed by the class teacher.
You will be a caring team player who will have enthusiasm, drive and a commitment to school improvement. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
