What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a skilled, experienced and flexible Teaching Assistant to work across our Years 5 & 6 classes as part of our exceptional team of support staff.

We are a welcoming, inclusive school community rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted.

The contracted hours are 9:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours available according to the needs of the school.

Some of these hours may be available as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate who would perform duties such as covering classes, leading a subject, delivering PE lessons etc.

The successful applicant will:

• Have a positive impact on the attainment and progress of pupils;
• Undertake a range of specialised tasks to support the learning and development of pupils; • Promote pupil independence and positive behaviours for learning through a ‘least help first’ approach;
• Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience, including in English and maths, and a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or be committed to working towards this). As part of the highly regarded Unity Schools Partnership, we offer:
