Thomas Deacon Academy (TDA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, vibrant, and supportive team. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our students’ growth and development. You'll love this role if you can utilise strategies to support students in achieving learning goals and establish good working relationships with pupils. You will have your maths and English GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) and you will be flexible, reliable and punctual. You will also be an excellent role model for our six TDA character values.

Our compassionate and supportive SEND department has an excellent reputation. Our Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants offer support within the classroom, during small group intervention sessions and on a 1:1 basis.
