What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will have;

  • A qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*-C or Level 2, on the national vocational framework.
  • NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Excellent and effective communication skills.

Further details about the role

As part of this role, you will;

  • Support learning, (using specific area/s of expertise), for a variety of individuals or groups of pupils as directed by the relevant team leader/subject teacher or SENCo.
  • Prepare in collaboration with the designated team, differentiated materials appropriate to the Scheme of Learning.
  • Provide systematic assessment feedback to teachers and Team Leaders. Keep records. Assist and contribute to the writing of GEPs, IEPs and PSPs.
